Blippi is Actually Really Inspiring
For anyone who doesn’t have small children and doesn’t know who Blippi is, he’s a children’s character on YouTube who has a goofy child-like demeanor. He’s played by Stevin John.
Lots of videos talking about various vehicles. Lots of dancing and songs.
Stevin used his background to become very successful doing something quite different that he enjoys.
He was in the Air Force which I suspect helps him with doing videos about machinery and making that information easily understandable for young audiences. He operates a lot of the different construction equipment himself in the videos.
He also used to be a comedian for grown-ups, famously doing a video where he pooped on someone. A video so gross and egregious it’s a bit surprising that he was able to get beyond it and make videos for children.
Luckily, he was able to move past this poor decision.
My kids have gotten very into watching a video with a bunch of his early stuff:
