I agree celebrity gossip is mostly silly. Though I do think it is sometimes important to look at who the person is beyond being an athlete or an artist etc. Since people look up to celebrities I think it's especially important they don't get excused for inappropriate behavior with everyone instead talking about what a good player they are or whatever.
