I think how I feel about "quiet quitting" depends on what job the person is doing. Like if I quiet quit back when I was a toddler teacher by not interacting with the kids as much or whatever then it's the kids who suffer. Or if people in the medical field quiet quit then it's patients who suffer. But if I'm at a huge company and just not answering emails in the evenings that sounds totally reasonable. I think "quiet quitting" is a silly name for it, but is a good thing to do in lots of situations and we should also be striving to improve working conditions in other fields as well.
