Something I've noticed is that is seems dads I see in public with their kids tend to be a bit less protective of their kids. Like the one I saw speedwalking in a grocery store who expected his toddlers to follow and keep up with him. I heard him calling out their names and looking for them a few minutes later. I feel like dads are both praised more and given more leeway for doing dumb things like that.
