There are definitely some perks of being single, even though I'd love to have a partner again eventually. My first marriage didn't go so well but it taught me a lot.

I can choose where I want to live now. I'm more a city person, while my ex wife liked being in the country so we got a house in the suburbs where neither of us were particularly happy.

I learned I can set up a printer by myself and many other tasks I would have previously asked someone else to do.
