This reminded me that one year we had so many people visiting at my grandma's relatively small house for the holidays that my uncle ended up sleeping in a tent on the back porch. All the beds, couches and floor mattresses were taken. In his case, he loves camping and used to work as a forest ranger, so he volunteered for that. It seems rude to choose the best place to sleep for yourself, unless there are health needs of some kind.
